Policy for MCO – NU Car Rentals (Serviced by Action Car Rental)

Upon Arrival

NU Car Rentals – Orlando is served by our affiliate Action Car Rental, located at:

3719 McCoy Road, Orlando, FL 32812

When you land at Orlando International Airport (MCO):

  1. Collect your luggage.
  2. Proceed to the ground transportation shuttle pick-up areas:
    • Terminal A: A11, A12, A13
    • Terminal B: B11, B12, B13
    • Terminal C: C277, C278
  3. Call the local office at +1 407 240 2700 and press 1 to request shuttle service.

Important Rental Terms:

  • Vehicles are held for up to 2 hours past your scheduled arrival time (within operational hours).
  • Vehicles cannot be taken outside of Florida.
  • All vehicles are equipped with toll devices that cannot be removed. If the toll device is removed from our vehicle there will be a penalty of $150.

Insurance & Excess Deposit

All rental vehicles must be fully insured prior to pick up.

  • Drivers must provide proof of Comprehensive, Collision, and Liability Insurance (declaration page required if using personal insurance).
  • If proof is not provided, coverage must be purchased at the counter.
  • 12–15 passenger vans require mandatory Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).

Collision Coverage (CDW) Rates:

  • Economy to mid size SUV: $24.99/day
  • Full-Size SUVs to Minivans: $31.99/day
  • Luxury Vehicles, SUVs & 12–15 Passenger Vans: $59.99/day
  • Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI): $15.88/day

Special Equipment

Optional available equipment:

  • Child Seat: $10.99/day (infant, toddler, or booster)
  • GPS System: $7.99/day
  • Prepaid Tolls: $15.99/day
  • Toll Violation Penalty: $50.00 per violation
  • Roadside Assistance: $9.99/day

Important Notes:

  • All vehicles are registered for toll use can't register another device
  • Personal transponders cannot be used.
  • The only way to pay for tolls is by purchasing the prepaid toll option.
  • Quantities may be limited.
  • All fees are subject to applicable taxes.

Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full.
  • Premium refueling rates apply if returned without refueling.
  • Prepaid fuel options are available at a discounted rate.
  • No credit is given for unused fuel.

One-Way Rentals

  • Vehicles must be returned to the same location unless a one-way drop fee applies (with prior notice).
  • Quotes must be requested at time of booking.
  • Call and press option 5 for return location requests.
  • Changes are not guaranteed without valid reason.

Geographic Restrictions

Travel outside Florida is strictly prohibited.

Violations incur:

  • $350 per border crossed
  • $0.50 per mile driven outside Florida
  • All purchased coverages and toll services become void outside Florida.

Driver Qualifications

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Valid physical (plastic), government-issued driver's license required.
  • No paper or temporary licenses accepted.
  • License must match credit card name exactly.
  • No changes allowed at counter.

Rentals not permitted to:

  • Individuals presenting a Florida driver's license
  • Florida residents

Additional Fees:

  • Under 25: $15/day
  • Additional driver: $9.99/day

All fees subject to tax.

Credit & Debit Card Policy

The credit card used to book must be presented at pickup.

Pay at Location – TotalFlex

  • $1.00 authorization at booking.
  • No-show fee: One rental day or minimum $75.

Pay Now Products

  • MaxiFlex: Cancel up to 48 hrs before pickup for full refund.
  • Flex: Cancel within 48 hrs of booking for full refund.
  • Best: Non-refundable and non-modifiable.

No refunds for no-shows.

Approved exceptions incur a 10% admin fee (minimum $25).

Includes:

  • Collision & Theft Waivers
  • Taxes & Fees

Not Included:

  • Fuel
  • Underage Driver Fee
  • Additional Driver Fee
  • Special Equipment (child seats, GPS)
  • Additional coverage options

Coverage purchases at rental are final and non-refundable.

  • American Express

Debit cards require approval by calling +1 407 240 2700.

  • Debit card convenience fee: $12.99/day
  • Security deposit: $300–$1000
  • Refund processing: 7–21 business days

Apple Pay, TAP and Apple Card are not accepted.

Legal Notice

NU Car Rentals acts as an agent for locally owned rental operators. Liability is limited to rental charges paid. The rental agreement signed at pickup governs all terms and conditions.

Additional Information

  • Charges appear as NU Car Rentals Website San Antonio, TX.
  • Rental day = 24 hours.
  • No refunds for early returns.
  • After-hours returns (if permitted) remain renter's responsibility until inspection.
  • No shuttle service outside operating hours.
  • Multiple vehicle reservations must be under different names.
  • Smoking or excessive cleaning may incur additional fees.
  • Vehicle make/models are not guaranteed.
  • Local taxes and fees are subject to change.
  • Any changes to an open contract must come to the location to resign the rental
